April 30, 2014 – RVFD units from Stations 23 and 33 were dispatched to a reported bus fire on southbound Interstate 270 near the split to the I-270 spur. Arriving units found a school bus with the engine compartment fully involved in flames. Crews quickly extinguished the fire using a water/foam combination. There were no children on the private school bus. Rush hour traffic in both directions was impacted.
