The Washington-Rockville Elks Lodge #15 is sponsoring a Flag Day Walk to benefit RVFD. The event will be held at Redgate Park,14500 Avery Rd, Rockville, MD 20853 starting at 5:00pm with the walk starting at 6:00pm. The cost to walk is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Hot dogs, hamburgers and sausages will be available for purchase prior to and after the walk at the Elks Lodge, #5 Taft Ct. Rockville, MD adjacent to the Park. Members of the public can park at the Lodge or in adjacent parking lots on Taft Ct.
The Elks Lodge will have an educational presentation about our US Flag’s history as well as a Flag Retirement ceremony to conclude the event. RVFD will have various fire and rescue apparatus at the event.
