The Rockville Volunteer Fire Department is pleased to announce that our new ambulance, purchased with funds donated by the community and grants, has been placed in service. The unit, to be known as Ambulance 703B, was manufactured by Horton Emergency Vehicles on a Freightliner chassis. The ambulance, when fully equipped as a paramedic unit, cost about $275,000.
